Obituary for Sandra F. Stewart
Sandra F. "Sandy" Stewart, 84, of Hermitage, passed away Friday, April 14, 2023, in Quality Life Services, Grove City, following a brief illness.
She was born Aug. 25, 1938, in Wheatland to Lucille (Uber) and Harold F. Hoffman.
She graduated from Farrell High School in 1956.
Sandy worked at Taylor Family Insurance in Hermitage as an office manager for 50 years, retiring in 2021.
She was a member of Hickory United Methodist Church, where she served on the Women's Society, and was past worthy matron of Eastern Star.
She enjoyed fishing, boating, and golfing.
Surviving are a step-daughter, Leslie Korns and her husband, Michael, of Lower Burrell, Pa.; a sister, Deborah Giroski of Hermitage; a brother, Frederick J. Hoffman, and his companion, Adriann Rotunno, of Hermitage; a niece, Melissa Keen, and her husband, Doug, of Sharon; and a nephew, Richard Hoffman, and his wife, Lynda, of Pittsburgh.
Sandy was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Roy T. Stewart, whom she married on Nov. 29, 1964. He passed away on Aug. 31, 2011.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the church in Sandy's name.
