Obituary for Donna Lee Griffith
Donna Lee Griffith, 80, of Winnabow, N.C., formerly of Farrell, died at 8:28 a.m. Aug. 14, 2022, at Novant Health New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington, N.C., due to an extended illness.
She was born on Nov. 5, 1941, in Sharon, to Elizabeth (Hassell) Zec and Stephen Zec.
Donna worked at Thrift Drug Store, Duffs Smorgasbord, Hermitage House and then retired from Walmart in Hermitage.
She was a member of Sharon Baptist Church.
Donna enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughters, Jacqueline Rupnik and her husband Brian of Winnabow, N.C.; Jeannette Monsman and her husband Kevin of Sharpsville; and Jody Hollis and her husband Scott of Girard, Ohio; her son, John Griffith of Hermitage; her brothers, Ricky Zec and his wife Mary of Farrell; and Michael Zec and his wife Debbie of Sharon; 10 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John W. Griffith Jr.; and two brothers, Steve and Larry Zec; and a great-granddaughter, Sylvia Dayne.
